McCabe Denture Clinic offers many services to help create a healthy smile. Select from the menu on the left or the headings below, to read more information about our services:
Standard Dentures are designed for the average patient using basic tooth shades and shapes. They are not as customized as precision dentures. Precision BPS ® Dentures, developed by Ivoclar, utilize premium materials and precision techniques to create customized state-of-the-art dentures. Implant Dentures are the most stable and "real" feeling of all types of dentures. If your dentures are always loose and cause irritation to your tissues, implant dentures are your solution. Implants are a proven restoration option with a long, clinical history and an excellent success rate. Permanent Teeth-in-a-Day are exactly as the name describes, permanent, secure teeth in just one day. This is made possible through the use of a treatment called All-on-4. Immediate Dentures are dentures that are inserted at the same time as the extractions of the natural teeth. With immediate dentures the patient never has to be without teeth. Cast Partial Dentures are designed to replace intermittent missing natural teeth. These partials are made from both acrylic and metal. The metal part is either highly compatible chrome cobalt alloy or titanium, which are both ultra thin, light and very strong. Acrylic Partial Dentures are normally used as temporary replacements while the gums resorb (shrink) after extractions. They are not as strong as a cast partial and are more prone to fracture. Denture Repairs Dentures are made of acrylic and although modern acrylics are strong they are not unbreakable. Many times a denture repair can be indicative of underlying problems, including age of the denture, worn teeth, or poor fit. Most denture fractures are easily repaired. With our on-site laboratory, most dentures can be repaired the same day. Relines This consists of adding new base material to the tissue side of the denture so that it fits properly. An impression is taken inside your denture, and in most cases the reline is completed on the same day the impression is taken. Rebases This procedure can be used when the denture teeth have not worn out in comparison to the denture material. It is a process of retrofitting dentures by replacing the acrylic denture base with new acrylic, which provides a stable denture without replacing the teeth. Oral Examinations It is very important to have an oral exam done on an annual basis. At this appointment the Denturist will assess the fit and function of your denture and your overall oral health. Mouth Guards Mouth Guards provide protection for your teeth whenever you are involved in an activity with a risk of falls or head contact with other players or equipment. Anti-Snoring Devices Anti-Snoring Devices are small, comfortable oral appliances that are worn while sleeping. These appliances work by bringing the jaw forward, or by holding the tongue forward, preventing snoring. |
